~ Bob and Sue Stevenson
|
Bob
and Sue love the leisurely, relaxed
lifestyle of Uhuru. Bob has previously
worked in finance and now enjoys spending
much of his time on the farm.
Sue also loves to spend her time outdoors
on the lodge. She is originally from
Kenya and has been a nurse and midwife. |
| Architecturally
designed and built in March 2000, Uhuru
Lodge rests within a beautiful panorama
of land and sea. The lodge is a haven
for birdlife, with 100 acres of native
bush including groves of mature Kauri
and over eight kilometres of varied
coastline. |
| Guest
privacy is ensured at the lodge along
with quality facilities and a host of
activities. Guests can choose to sit
back and relax at the lodge or take
a drive and experience the sights and
attractions the district has to offer. |
| The
lodge is only 15 minutes drive from
Warkworth village - a charming township
providing a host of cafes, niche galleries
and craft stores. |
Whether as a relaxing retreat or cultural
vista, Uhuru Lodge is a
delightful escape. |
